What is the ratio of consonants to vowels in the english language?

There are 26 letters in the English Alphabet. 20 of them are Consonants and 5 of them are vowels. The letter Y is an exception that can fit into either category.

21/5 is consonants/vowels when y is taken as consonant

20/6=10/3 is consonants/vowels when y is taken as vowel

When y is consonant, consonants/letters is 21/26 and vowels/letters is 5/26

When y is vowel, consonants/letters is 20/26=10/13, while vowels/letters is 6/26=3/13

That what?
Well, the ratios are 80.8% consonants and 19.2% vowels when y is consonant, 76.9% consonants and 23.1% vowels when y is vowel.
